    With excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric conditions, they are widely used in chemical plant, heat exchanger industry, cellulose industry, etc. 904L stainless steel seamless pipe are inventoried in diameter from 21.3mm to 323.9mm.

    Materials and Manufacture 904L pipe shall be supplied in the solution-treated condition. (The recommended heat treatment shall consist of heating to a temperature of 1065 to 1150)

    Note:
    OD is the specified outside diameter.
    WT is the specified wall thickness
    Stainless steel pipes shall be pickled free of scale. When bright annealing is used, pickling is not necessary.
    Plain ends cut and deburred will be furnished. If threaded ends or ends beveled for welding are desired, give details.

    Note1: 904L Stainless steel material shall conform to the requirements as to chemical composition prescribed in the below table;
    Note2: If the analysis of 904L pipe is performed by the purchaser, the material shall conform to the product analysis variations prescribed in the below table.

    Note4: For hot-finished tube 127.0mm and under in outside diameter, the tolerances on the outside diameter apply for individual measurements and include ovality. For tubes over 127.0mm in outside diameter, the mean outside diameter shall conform to the tolerances of the above table and individual measurements shall not exceed twice the tolerances of the above table.

     

    Tolerances for Length of 904L Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe/Tube
    When pipe or tube is ordered cut-to-length, the length shall not be less than that specified, but a variation of +3.2mm will be permitted, except that for lengths over 9.1m, a variation of 6.4mm will be permitted.
